Birthday night out

Belated photos from celebrating Lai Han’s 20th when she was back in Singapore. I know, so belated.

Was so glad to have her back, even if it was only for a short while. It’s getting increasingly tough to gather everyone to hang out after a long time but I’m really happy that we managed to still catch up and relive our old days. Plus, everything’s better over artery-clogging dim sum suppers in sleazy areas in the middle of the night.

It’s funny really, how sometimes we forget how it feels like to be with a certain bunch of people, but once we get together it’s like all the memories and moments come rushing back. Nights like these I sit here and I don’t even have the slightest memory of something fun we did, but when I’m with you guys I never ever run out of examples and scenarios to talk about. I’ve no idea if we’ll be able to keep this up in the years to come but I truly hope that we do, because you guys are an amazing bunch that I hold dear to my heart and I wouldn’t trade what we have for anything in the world.

P/S: Happy superbly belated birthday Laihunnie. Hope you enjoyed that squashed birthday cake.
